The French Tennis Federation updated last December the points scale during the trials of padel in 2020 and the assimilation regulations.
Below, find the summary of the distribution of points according to your place in a tournament of padel and the category of a test of padel. Obviously, the more elitist the category, the more points it can earn.
Note that a P2000 quarterfinal wins as many points as a P1000 victory. worth it for the best.
Classification Assimilations may be issued to certain foreign players, or to certain French players, so that their classification best reflects their level of play.
These assimilations can be delivered under certain conditions.
The foreign players concerned:
- foreign players with a significant Ranking in their country of origin
- players with a very good international ranking (WPT ranking).
- players classified, or having been classified, at least + 2 / 6 in tennis in France - “presumed” tennis rankings are not taken into account - (see grid below)
The French players concerned:
-the players who have played in the French team of Padel
- players having (or having had) a significant ranking at the international level (WPT ranking).
- players classified, or having been classified, at least +2/6 tennis (see grid below)

This assimilation will be given according to the following grid, and taking into account their experience at Padel.
Given the monthly payment of the Ranking of Padel, a Classification assimilation is valid for 1 year from its date of issue.
If a player has less than 10 tournaments in his prize list at the time of a Ranking Calculation, but despite this number of tournaments being less than 10, his calculated Ranking is better than his assimilation, the player then naturally enters the “ ranking ”, and its ranking will be calculated in the following months.
Moreover, as soon as a player has participated in 10 minimum tournaments over a period of 12 consecutive months, his assimilation is no longer valid and he naturally enters the Ranking Calculation.
