World Seniors Plus 2024 Open (M): the French start very strong

After having mastered their first confrontation in the nations competition, the French started the match perfectly.Open of the 2024 Senior Plus World Championships.

Indeed, the seven tricolor pairs which entered the competition this Tuesday all won, and with style for most of them! Because if Launo and Lagloire had to work hard in +55 years to overcome the Spaniards Escobar and Fereiro (victory in the tie-break of the third set), their compatriots did not do well with each time victories in two rather dry sets.

This is a perfect start to the Open for the players of Team France, who will all play tomorrow morning in the round of 16, before facing Uruguay tomorrow afternoon in the nations competition.

But in the meantime, it's time for the girls, with no less than seven pairs entered in the Open and five playing this evening (the Phan-Thanh / Dumoutier and Soubrie / Ros pairs having a bye in the first round)!
