World Seniors Plus 2024: the French in the final against Spain!

The French dominated Italy in the semi-final of the Seniors Plus World Championships. They will face Spain tomorrow.

It's done, the French women's team is in the final of the 2024 Veterans World Cup. Against Italy, the French players left no room for suspense. Indeed, after the first three matches, the French were already qualified. Three victories in two sets for the French delegation which crushed the Squadra Azzura.

• +55 years: Géraldine Sorel and Anne Saumont beat Martina Ghezzi / Gaia Giacchetti 6-4, 6-4
• +50 years: Alexia Dechaume and Catherine Lalanne beat Daniela Cigna / Vittoria Merci 6-2, 6-0
• +45 years: Emmelien Lambregts and Emilie Loit beat Sandra Lazzeretti / Martina Camorani: 6-3, 6-4

The French players decided not to play the last two matches since the confrontation was already over and the pairs Detriviere / Pecastaing and Soubrie / Ros are playing this evening for places in the final of the Open respectively in the +40 and +35 years old.
