Injured in the hamstring, the French champion Johan Bergeron was forced to forfeit during the previas of the World Padel Tour Menorca Open.
It's a big blow for Johan Bergeron and Victor Mena Gil. While they were at 2 games throughout the first set of their match against Christian Murphy / Pedro Meléndez, the champion of France injured his hamstring.
Johan gritted his teeth for two sets and ended up crack under the pain in the third set, while the Franco-Spanish pair were down 7/5 2/6 0/1. A blow for Bergeron / Mena Gil who, despite the Frenchman's injury, still managed to win the first set.
As he said on his Instagram account, Johan will now have an ultrasound to find out more about this injury. We hope it will be awarded for P2000 Toulouse, which begins in a little less than a week ... We wish him a speedy recovery.
