La padel continues its expansion in the world and this time we stay at home, in France, but a few thousand kilometers from the metropolis!
Indeed it is on the side of the Indian Ocean and more particularly in Reunion that a new project is being established.
As popular as ever, this sport is strengthening its global presence in new territories and thus making it possible to meet the growing demand from locals.
Next October, a new sports complex will see the light of day dedicated solely to padel in the town of Saint Louis, near the Etang du Gol.
At the head of this project called “Endémik sport and nature club“, Lucas Landais, tennis teacher and passionate about padel for a few years.
The future club of padel will be located on an area of over 3000m², in a wooded, pleasant and relaxing setting.
The business manager, concerned about his environment, made a point of not distorting this natural space and this is what attracted the municipality which consequently issued him a provision agreement.
This great project consists of three fields of padel and three bungalows which will serve as changing rooms, snack bar and reception.
As the name suggests, in “Endémik sport and nature club“, There is the word nature.
And in this project it takes on all its meaning because Lucas Landais wants to respect his future working environment.
So to expand its offer, it will offer electric scooters so that Reunionese who wish to walk along this pond in the south of the island can do so in a fun and environmentally friendly way.
