WPT Challenger Lerma: the perfect place to play padel

Yesterday started the World Padel Tour Lerma Challenger, a tournament in an incredible setting, where very beautiful pairs of the circuit will compete.

For the second Challenger of 2021, World Padel Tour and UPC have put the small dishes in the big ones with an incredible decor. As you will see in the photo below, the central track installed in Plaza Mayor de Lerma is just spectacular!

But that's not all, in addition to this superb setting, we should still attend some very big matches with very good pairs from the WPT who made the trip.

Among the men, Javi Rico and Momo Gonzalez, disappointing in Las Rozas, will try to achieve the double on the Challenger circuit. They will have to be wary of German / Nieto, finalists in Marbella, of the new pair Silingo / Sanz, or of Lucho Capra and Javi Garrido who have joined forces for the occasion. (Maxi Sanchez, usual teammate of Capra and 12th in the ranking, cannot participate due to his ranking too high by one place).

On the French side, we find Benjamin Tison and Marc Quilez. The unfortunate finalists of the FIP Rise Kings Open will face Rafa Mendez and Agustin Gutierrez, two players better classified than them but against whom they will undoubtedly have a chance!

For girls, the level will be a little lower than in Marbella. As proof, Lorena Rufo and Marta Talavan will be seeded number 1 while they were seeded number 4 in Andalusia. In the absence of Iglesias / Osoro and Amatriain / Navarro, Alix Collombon and Jessica Castello, seed number 4, will have a chance to play. They will begin Thursday morning, in the eighth, against the winners of the clash between Perez / Perez and Merino / Paz.
