Padel professional: Bein Sports strikes back!

After losing a first battle against Canal+, the Bein Sports television channel already seems ready for the second round.

At the previous World Championship padel, played in Qatar, Bein Sports has become the first television channel in the padel live in France. As Thibault Le Rol told us, the Qatari channel had been considering this possibility for a while. We thought that the World Padel Tour would land on Bein but it was without counting on the responsiveness of Canal Plus which managed to obtain the rights to the WPT until 2026!

A setback that was not necessarily very appreciated by the camp of Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who, as he showed at the World Cup in Doha, is more and more interested in this sport.

From there to propose a very attractive offer to players of the World Padel Tour, so that they can now play his circuit in collaboration with the FIP. As you can imagine, this circuit would be broadcast on Bein Sports, enough to take revenge on the competitor Canal+ now! There would therefore be two offers in 2022 in France with the FIP/QSI tournaments on Bein Sports and the World Padel Tour on Canal Plus. The showdown has only just begun!
