2021 was an exceptional year for the padel and more particularly for brands. The figures of the Spanish firm Starvie came out, and show an unprecedented increase!
The brand is in line with the trend of 2021, that is to say growth never seen before, both nationally and internationally. The figures prove it: if we focus only on the Spanish market, the year ended with a 22% increase in licenses, according to data from the Spanish Federation of Padel. Our sport is changing in dimension and the size of its market too.
And the Starvie brand felt it. Its turnover, which amounted to 2,68 million euros, rose to 6 million euros in 2021, which therefore represents an increase of +122%: monumental!
And this figure does not seem to leave the General Manager of the brand stunned, Jorge Gomez de la Vega, who announce "that he hopes to double the result obtained in 2022"!
It must be said that the brand that manufactures its premium palas in Spain and sponsors players like Bea Gonzalez and Javi Garrido, who distinguished themselves at the WPT Miami Open, enjoys a very good popularity rating with fans!
