A new team competition sponsored by Rafael Nadal and his academy, and sponsored by Adecco, is being launched this year.

Each team will be made up of six players (minimum) who will play three matches in each opposition. The teams will be guaranteed to play two matches in each event. The events will be divided into several categories which use the names of palas Babolat :

  • Viper, high level male
  • Veron, average male level
  • Energy, high level women
  • Pixy, female average level

This first edition will consist of six stages: Santander (June 6-9), Madrid (June 28-30), Valladolid (July 5-7), Malaga (July 12-14), Alicante (August 23-25) and Barcelona (date to be determined). The Rafa Nadal Academy Tour will end in the lands of Taurus, Manacor, from October 8 to 13.

The circuit organizers explained that the aim was to “make the values, methodology and DNA of the academy known in the world of padel amateur thanks to an innovative circuit which is long-lasting. "

After joining Playtomic, the former world number one tennis player continues to invest in padel. Its academy already offers training programs for young people and adults on the ten outdoor tracks and seven indoor courts in Manacor.
