“I felt good on this track. There's a bit less of a rebound than last year so I think it's going to be cool.”

His best and his worst memory

"The best ? Our victory in the European Championship in 2019 with the France team. Worst of all is a terrible first-round loss to Madrid's Las Rozas three years ago. It had been completely dramatic, I had not put a single ball in the field.

A warrior's mind

“As for my ideal partner, what matters to me the most is the mentality, the fact that she fights, does not give up … and if she can avoid making weird faces when we make mistakes, or that there are bad choices, it's even better.”

The Blade Pro, the best racquet for Alix

“I'm not going to advertise Wilson, but still, I'm going to do a little bit (laughs). The racquet I currently have, the Blade Pro, is the ideal racquet for me. I really like it because it combines control and power. Its only fault is that it is green [Editor's note: the color of Saint-Etienne] and me as a Lyonnaise, it's a bit hard (laughs). But I also like a racquet that is neither too heavy nor too light.”

"Outside of padel, I like spending time with my friends, going to the restaurant. We have a good colony now in Barcelona and it's very nice!”

The key ? warming up

“Before each match, I warm up well. I start with exercises, it's very structured. I also listen to a bit of music, I like to have some quiet time for myself before the game, that's my routine. I don't do anything really special otherwise.”

A single broken racket

“I broke one after a match where we had come close and had a lot of chances. It was a game we could win even though it was my first year on the circuit and I still lacked experience. After this match, I was very frustrated and I smashed it. But it's the only racquet I've broken. “

No fetish outfit

“I don't have a favorite item or item of clothing during a match. On the other hand, it's true that when I have a big defeat with an outfit, I find it difficult to put it back on right away.

Wearing the blue jersey, an honor

“All the moments we experienced in the France team were emotional moments. I really think that's what gets to me padel and for me wearing the blue jersey, there is nothing better!”
