Benjamin Tison was the most prominent Frenchman on the World Padel Tour in 2021 with in particular the first main draw of his career in an Open.

Now 75nd in the ranking of World Padel Tour, Benjamin Tison will have had a historic season with a first appearance in a main draw of an Open or Master for a French. It was in May, in Vigo.

First French to start directly in previas, the Ile-de-France will have peaked in the 72nd, which again constitutes a record. Indeed, before him the best ranking known by a Frenchman on the WPT was the 99th place of Jérémy Scatena!

Whoever had his first title of Champion of France in 2021 looks back on this very good season:

“I finished the season 75th, it was beyond my objectives which were to enter the 90. I made my first final table of a WPT and in addition and finally obtained this title of champion of France with my Jo Bergeron. Plus my quarter-final in Challenger and the two competitions with France, the year was exceptional even if I ended up on my knees (laughs)!
Only small regret, four games lost by having match points against Top 40 players who change a season.

In 2022, I first want to maintain myself at this level because I have a lot of points to defend at the beginning of the year since I started from preprevia last year I have a lot of points of bonus to defend. I am continuing with my friend Teo Zapata. ”
