Las Rozas Open - The French program

In just three days, the Las Rozas Open, the last tournament of the World Padel Tour before the Final Master. Let's see what the French will be entitled to!

In boys

As you have certainly seen in the tables, 6 French participate in this last Open of World Padel Tour of the season, which takes place in Las Rozas, just outside Madrid. A little less French than usual since, as in Alicante, Brandon Sfez is absent, and that Thomas Leygue, victim of Covid-19, cannot participate.

Good hopes for Bergeron / Gil

At the top of the preprevia table, we find our French Johan Bergeron associated with Victor Manuel Mena Gil (seed 15). They will be opposed to first round to Alejandro Moya Rodríguez (429) and Gonzalez Perez Arbona (172). In case of victory they will be able to face in the second round the winner of the match between Jose Jimenez Casas (342) / Carlos Marti Vaño (210) to Sergio Borrero (304) / Arnau Iñiguez (248). Johan will open the ball of this last Open of the calendar of World Padel Tour Sunday at 9 p.m..

Two 100% French teams will also be on the starting line this Sunday morning.

Le Panse / Trancart facing the Wild Card

Loïc Le Panse and Nicolas Trancart they will play 11 h, against a Wild Card pair: Luis Ortega Pérez (166) and Jaime Fermosell Delgado (608). Certainly a good match for our two French to hope to meet later the 4% Portuguese seed 100: Vasco Pascoal (97) and Diogo Rocha (82)!

Tison / Scatena not spoiled for their return to the 1st round of the preprevia

Benjamin Tison and Jeremy Scatena will start at 13 h salary. José Luis Gonzalez Rodríguez (148) and Alvaro Melendez Amaya (189). A trick not to give away for the 9th seed of these preprevia, who inherits from a seasoned pair, who had clearly dominated Loïc Le Panse /Raul Medina Lopez in Alicante.

First WPT together for Martin / Lopez Lopez

For her first WPT tournament with the youngster Rebecca lopez lopez, Melissa Martin starts in the first round of preprevia, Monday at 14 p.m.Facing Irène Santos Bravo and Lucia Perez Parra. A match within the reach of the Franco-Spanish pair who could later meet the formidable Italian pair Sussarello / Pappacena.

Easier draw than in Alicante for Collombon / Ruiz Soto

For the first time in over two years, Alix Collombon goes down to previa. Associated with Sara Ruiz Soto, the Frenchwoman, who will play a second tournament on the left, will face Monday at 18:00 p.m., a qualified pair of previa. A draw much easier than in Alicante for the Franco-Spanish pair!

Clergue / Godallier directly in the table!

Léa Godallier and Laura Clergue, who are debuting for the first time in an Open tournament table, will meet a brand new pair made up of two Top 25 players: Lucia Martinez and Veronica Virseda.
