We submitted the French n°2 Léa Godallier to our questionnaire on her report to the padel, memories and much more.

Ideal conditions

“I find the track great here in Toulouse, the conditions are great. The rebound, I think it's quite fast and for us who have a game that is more and more forward-based, it's great!”

The European Championships

“My best memory, I would say, is the final at the European Team Championships in Marbella with Team France because there was a fiery atmosphere in the stands.”

Difficult to change partner

“I have no bad memories. I would just say that right now, it's complicated to change partners often and sides too.

Be physically on point

"Assuming I'm playing on the left, I would like my partner to be physically on the cleat, running around and building the point for me well."

Keep control

“As for my ideal racquet, I like to imagine it being a little stiff and allowing you to maintain control. I also have to feel that I can “send” from time to time because it's a line of work that I have. My current racquet [Editor’s note: a Nox AT10 Genius] suits me perfectly for all these reasons.”

A single broken racket

“I've only broken one racquet in my career, but not on the court. It was a French tournament, I left the club to go blow it quickly so that no one saw me, I put it in the trash and I came back as if nothing had happened.

A good atmosphere

“My favorite thing about padel, it is the fact of being with a partner. It's a good atmosphere in general, even on the World Padel Tour, even though it's an international circuit, there's a pretty cool vibe.”

Lucky bracelet

"I have a favorite object, it's my little bracelet that I wear on my ankle every game."

Putting Alejandra in trouble

“The craziest experience for me was a month and a half ago when I played in Copenhagen against Salazar / Triay. I had just passed to the right, I had not trained before and I managed to annoy Mrs. Salazar.
