Since when do we play padel on grounds with windows? A question that deserves to be asked as this invention has made this sport more enjoyable to watch.

Our Italian colleagues from MrPadelPaddle boarding teach us that the first field of padel with panes, instead of walls, first saw the light of day in Mar Del Plata, in 1989, thanks to trainer Jorge Galeotti. At the time, the padel was filmed in Argentina, and that has greatly helped to make the sport more telegenic.

Two years later, the padel was the second most popular sport in the country. In Europe, it was in 1992 that the first field with windows was installed, in Seville, as part of Expo 92. At the time, all windows rose to 4 meters.

We can clearly think that the glazed grounds allowed the expansion of the padel, making it more visible and more pleasant for everyone to watch. Today the panoramic land are downright the pinnacle, making the show simply magnificent, as on the World Padel Tour, or here at Esprit Padel.
