Padel is a real passion in Italy. On the other side of the Alps, we can see that more and more people are practicing the activity, but also that there are more and more fans of professional padel.

We have new proof of this with this Milano P1 which welcomed more than 30 spectators according to Martina Riva, the Councilor for Sports, Tourism and Politics at Milan City Hall.

On the internet, images of “stitches” of the best players in the world went on repeat, with a total increase of 87% in impressions of posts relating to the tournament on social networks.

This bodes very well for next year, as Luigi Carraro, President of the FIP, explains: “The Milan tournament, the last event of the season, confirms the great passion of the Italian public for padel and opens a window on the future of the circuit in 2024, with a full calendar including about 24 world-class tournaments. The latter, which is generating great anticipation, will be officially announced in the coming days. The positive figures of this tournament confirm the growth of interest and passion of the public and practitioners around the world.”
