After a tournament cancellation A1 Padel this month of August due to permit issues, New York City is set to host its first professional padel tournament of the year October 9-15 at Wollman Rink in Central Park. This emblematic sports space, located in the heart of the famous park, already houses tennis courts and an ice rink.
The announcement of the new date and the new place was made by Fabrice Pastor, president of A1 Padel, and NY Yankees President Randy Levine at a special press conference. The Grand Master tournament will mark A1's first event in the United States.
According to the organizers, this flagship event is expected to bring together more than 4 padel fans. In addition, it will be broadcast live by a national American television channel, whose name is still unknown.
The success of this tournament would be a strong affirmation of Pastor's project to internationalize padel, especially after the notable cancellation of the previous event that had raised doubts about the agreement with a world-class organization such as the Yankees.

Under the aegis of Fabrice Pastor, A1 Padel continues to support the growth and international development of the sport. Circuit A1 Padel stands out for its presence in many countries and continents, consolidating its reputation thanks to an increasingly solid project.
