Le World Padel Tour seems to put pressure on the players who will participate in the Italy Major in Rome. The International Federation of Padel counter-attack in the process by confirming their presence at the beginning of July.

"The Premier Padel BNL Italy Major, which will take place in Rome, promises to bring together the elite of padel world, with a historic first: the introduction of a women's tournament. From Saturday 8 July, the day of the opening of the qualifications, to Sunday 16, the Foro Itálico will be the scene of nine days dedicated to this sport. Rome thus becomes the center of the world of padel.

The tournament will host a men's draw of 56 pairs and a women's draw of 48 pairs, spread over seven courts, including the central court. This long-awaited event will begin with an audience of 6 spectators, as a reminder of the May 500 final, won by Galán and Lebrón at the Grand Stand Arena. It is also in Rome that this dream duo will reform, Lebron making his comeback after an injury.

Rome is one of the four key destinations in the padel worldwide, alongside Doha, Paris and Monterrey. It is also the first of two circuit tournaments scheduled for Italy, the second being the Premier Padel P1 in Milan.”
