Interviewed by the daily newspaper of her region, El Periodico Extremadura, the current world number 1 Paula Josemaria returns to various current topics and details her training program.

From Monday to Saturday, Paula starts the day with two hours of physical training, then does 1h30 of padel, and again 1h30 of padel the afternoon. You counted correctly, that's 5 hours of training per day and 30 hours per week. Add to that the recovery sessions and you have a busy program. Of course, this concerns the weeks in which there is no tournament.

There is no secret: despite all the talent that some players are lucky enough to have, it takes a lot of work to be able to be among the best in the world in a sport. Paula Josemaria has understood this, and these hours spent in training, coupled with undeniable intrinsic qualities, make them and their partner Ari Sanchez the pair to beat padel global. Those who want to dethrone them have been warned, they will have to work hard to try to achieve it!
