The rules of the game padel are generally rather simple since the rules largely repeat those of tennis. But sometimes it is not so obvious especially when the rules of the International Federation of padel is not that of the French Tennis Federation. BUT, this time the rules are the same so no excuses!
The FFT gives all the information in its manual on the ICI regulation.
10 RULE - LOST POINT
A team will lose the point:
- If one of the two players, his racket, or any object belonging to him touches the file or its amounts while the ball is in play;
- If the ball bounces twice in its camp;
- If the ball is hit before passing the net;
- If a player hits the ball twice;
- If a player goes over the net - If both players touch the ball (even one time) before it passes on the other side of the court;
- If the ball touches a player or an object of his equipment;
- If a player throws the racket to touch the ball (wearing the required strap);
NB: Be careful, the point will be correct if the ball bounces in the corner of the opponent's court, simultaneously touching the ground and one or more walls (or windows).

Hello,
Can you enlighten me on the following situation:
a defender sends the ball to his rear window, then the ball bounces on the window and then touches the grid still in the defender's court and finally crosses the net and will make a rebound in the opposing side.
Is this correct or is the point lost?
Thank you!
Good evening, if the ball directly hits the grid without a rebound in the opponent's side, the ball is foul. 🙂
Hello,
There the ball bounced on the ground, then the player hit the ball that touched, in his camp, the rear window then the grid and after crossed the net to go bounce in the opposite camp.
A return with a window is authorized but I do not know if the fact of touching its own grid afterwards is valid….
In your camp you can use all the playing surfaces except the ground which is limited to a single rebound.
Even the grid?
I thought that in his camp, we could only use windows.
It's the case. But in the opposing camp after the rebound you can use everything. 🙂
