No the padel will not be at the party from May 11. “A priori”, the 1 against 1 and the private lessons of padel will not be allowed.

Once again, Marc Alauzun, the Padel Club de Sète managed to obtain answers directly from the Ministry of Sports by asking if “1 on 1 and private lessons will nevertheless be allowed? ”

Response from the Ministry of Sports:

We await the publication of the practice guide worked with the French Tennis Federation, but a priori not.

Unless there is a nice surprise, the FFT will therefore not allow 1 against 1 in padel or the lessons with two students or private lessons as hoped for a while.

The question that we can legitimately ask ourselves if the information is confirmed, this is why the FFT authorizes 1 against 1 in tennis and not in padel ? We know that the period experienced by the FFT is far from simple. She does her best. But if tennis were to be allowed in singles and not the padel, it will certainly have to argue to make this choice understood.

The practice guide is to be presented today to the league presidents. The FFT will then communicate on this guide after validation.

Anyway, let's wait another good month, to find, we hope, a little more normal life.
