The day promised to be boiling at the Master CMB Monaco of A1 Padel and one thing is certain, the spectators enjoyed themselves this Thursday.

Posters that kept their promises

After a first part of the day marked by the elimination of the number 6 seed Andres Britos / Maximiliano Sanchez, the center gave way to enticing encounters.

For Torre and Ramos the task was not easy. The number 4 seed had to fight in the third set to get rid of the Luque / Gonzalez trap. El 'Alfil' and El 'Loco' suffered but won 7/5 4/6 6/3.

The remake of the French Open final last March has kept all its promises. As in Beausoleil, the first set is a recital: Arce and Dal Bianco largely dominate Lijo and Semmler. The Spanish pair manage to come back in the second run to rekindle some semblance of suspense.

In the decisive set the two duos engage in a fierce battle and once again the kings of the circuit demonstrate their steely mind. Stronger and more regular, Arce and Dal Bianco show a formidable efficiency. There will be no revenge in Monaco for Lijo and Semmler. Maximiliano Arce and Franco Dal Bianco trembled, but won 6/2 4/6 6/3.

'Pincho' Fernandez and José Antonio Diestro aimed to play the spoilsports in this Master in Monaco. So far the plan is going off without a hitch.. Yet in the first round, these are good Chiostri and Barrera who dictate the game. The seeded number 5 enforces its rank and takes the first set 6/4. In the second act, the trend is reversed, the Spaniards are on cloud nine.

Relentless in defense and more incisive than their opponents, 'Pincho' and José Diestro delivered a perfect second set. Shaken by the quality of play offered by the Spaniards, Chiostri and Barrera struggled to return to the game. Eventually, the fight continues in the third set but turns in favor of 'Pincho' Fernandez and José Diestro with the score of 4/6 6/1 6/4.

After making a perfect copy against Tolito and Tito, Juan Restivo and Victor Saenz were unrecognizable this Thursday evening in Monaco. Against the Spaniards Alejandro Urzola and Javier Perez, the Italian-Spanish pair failed to repeat the feat. Urzola and Pérez qualified for the 1/4 final of the Master in two sets 7/6 6/2.
