Tenerife had a great evening of padel with 4 great performances. The confident pairs will face off this Saturday for a place in the final of the Tenerife Open of the APT Padel Tower !

Oliveira/Chozas, what a show!

After a very average match with a very low level of confidence, Miguel Oliveira proves to us that the state of form can vary drastically from one day to another. The Portuguese achieved one of the best performances of his career to allow his pair to perform.

At his side, Alex Chozas was irreproachable by showing a rare solidity for a player on the left. On the other side of the net Jose Luis Gonzalez and Antonio Luque couldn't get level to disturb the Argentinian and the Portuguese.

The final score is very crude: 6/1 6/1. If Miguel and Alex manage to reproduce this level of play on Saturday and Sunday, they should win the tournament, but this performance is so rare in its perfection that it will be difficult to repeat it!

Torre/Ramos, in speed

Agustin Torre and Diego Ramos only needed 61 minutes to overcome Matias del Moral and Santiago Frugoni. The latter did not manage to reproduce yesterday's performance against Melgratti/Julianoti and lost by a double 6/2.

Torre/Ramos will therefore challenge Miguel Oliveira and Alex Chozas tomorrow, for a match that will undoubtedly be interesting with two pairs full of confidence.

The best at Tito/Tolito

Tito Allemandi and Tolito Aguirre are moving forward. After a very average match yesterday (especially from Tolito), the pair that makes fans dream is gaining momentum.

It hasn't been the best version of the pair yet, but their level was enough to overcome an irregular Gutierrez/Piotto. Nacho Piotto dominated the encounter with his talent at times, but confidence issues plagued him in the decisive moments.

“It's very difficult to play with Cristian, there is more pressure than with anyone else”, confided the young Argentinian to Padel Magazine in an interview to be released soon. Today, the pressure did not allow him to play at his level throughout the match.

Tolito and Tito therefore take the opportunity to qualify for the last four of this Tenerife Open, but it will be necessary to play better to hope to lift the title.

Easy Pincho/Diestro

Pincho Fernandez and Jose Diestro are now the favorites for this tournament. They knocked out No. 1 seed Chiostri/Alfonso yesterday, and Facu Dominguez and Juan Restivo couldn't compete tonight.

With the feeling of not forcing, Pincho and Jose won 6/3 6/3 and they will challenge Tolito/Tito tomorrow. It will be the big shock of the day!
