Christian Collange, President of Sun Sports Events and distributor of the brand BULLPADEL looks back on its news, but also on the future of padel in his region.

The year of change in 2017?

I sold my management, direction and convention of TENNIS PADEL SOLEIL, because I wanted to devote myself fully to my Monegasque company SUN SPORTS EVENTS which markets and distributes sports brands, does events, manages tennis challenges and padel Monegasques and will open a sports store in 2018.
All of this was not compatible with ubiquitous activity at the 7 / 7 club, in the field, and the 2 years of work really worn me out.

But you always stay in the padel ?

I will also take care of a Monegasque association of padel, and I was appointed chairman of the commission PADEL FFT of the French Riviera.
So always on sport and PADEL where there is a lot to do.
We are distributor of the number 1 brand of PADEL : BULLPADEL , with which we have many projects in FRANCE to set up.
At the event level, through my company, we have many projects in study: circuit, tournaments, events, training of coaches, clinics companies / clubs etc ..., construction clubs turnkey . ";

Gaby Reca is part of the project?

We will try to set up some things in place in collaboration with GABY RECA (ambassador BULLPADEL) who is besides his essential past as a top player (ex world number 1) a very high level and essential coach in this field, moreover with his dual Franco-Argentinian nationality, he already trains the best French players and I think that there is something to be done around his professionalism.

At the league level, what will you put in place?

At LEAGUE level, we will try to help the clubs as best as possible, the FFT wants to put resources into the development of the padel : we must take care of the teaching and training of teachers, the organization of padel, competition, tournament categories (maybe create young and veteran categories ...), leisure etc ...
