Ale Galan and Juan Lebron gave a real recital in the final of the World Padel Tour Santander Open against Javi Rico and Momo Gonzalez!

Heckled yesterday by Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno, the numbers 1 Ale Galan and Juan Lebron set the record straight today in the final.

Unplayable from start to finish, Ale and Juan win their second title of 2021 following a totally mastered final. Barely over an hour of the match, no break conceded, the players of Mariano Amat offered a real recital of padel.

Momo Gonzalez and Javi Rico's first title will have to wait. The two young players gave their all but it would have taken more to worry the pair that dominated the WPT all last season. A victory 6 / 3 6 / 2 for Ale and Juan who will have clearly impressed during this Santander Open.

Unlike the women's circuit, where 4 different pairs have won this year, for men, two pairs dominate the debates with two tournaments each to their credit: Lebron / Galan of course, and Bela / Sanyo. These two pairs have yet to meet, and we expect a very big game the day they do. For that we have to hope that Fernando Belasteguin can quickly recover from his calf injury ...
