How approve a tournament padel ? What are the approval deadlines? How are things going for the regional and departmental championships?

1 - TOURNAMENT APPROVAL

1) The Club / Authorized Structure enters its homologation request (P 25 to P 1000) directly in the ADOC application. This is then visible by the League and by the FFT in the Federal Administrative Base.

2) Once the homologation entry has been validated by the club in ADOC, an email is automatically sent to the Referee, who must then validate his designation in the application. Padel : https: // beach-padel.app.fft.fr / beachja / logout /

Please note: tournaments Padel are directed by Judge-Arbitrators from Padel, level 2 or 3 (there is no level 1), either JAP2 or JAP3. From 1er September 2020, or for the 2021 vintage approvals, it will no longer be possible to assign a JA Tennis computer to a homologation of Padel.

3) Once the JAP has accepted its designation:

- The League can validate the tournament (from P 25 to P 500 included)

- The FFT can validate the P 1000 tournament (the P 2000 are entered directly by the FFT)

4) Once the homologation is validated administratively, either by the League or by the FFT, the tournament is automatically and immediately published on the Ten'Up Application (web and mobile application to download for free)

5) At the end of the tournament, the JAP enters the results (within 48 hours maximum), and closes the approval in the application Padel. The results then automatically go up in the list of competitors and will be taken into account in the calculation of the Ranking.

2 - APPROVAL DEADLINES

P 25:

2 weeks minimum before the first day of the competition

P100 / P 250 / P 500 :

4 weeks minimum before the first day of the competition

P 1000: Entry on ADOC with the following deadlines:

- September 30 of year N-1 for the first semester of year N

- March 31 of year N for the second semester of that same year

Warning: it is not possible to have two P 1000 tournaments simultaneously, or a P 1000 tournament at the same time as another senior national competition.

The organizing club must enter (in ADOC) a single homologation request for all the events of the tournament it is organizing (3 events maximum per homologation).

If the Club does not respect this deadline, only the League will then be able to accept - or not - to enter the homologation after the deadline directly within the federal base.

3 - HOMOLOGATION OF REGIONAL & DEPARTMENTAL CHAMPIONSHIPS BY PAIRS

Same principle as for tournaments, except that it is the League or the Committee which directly seizes the homologation within the federal base.

The Regional Championships are valued in the P 1000 category.

The qualifying departmental phases for the Regional Championship are valued in the P 250 category.

A note that there is no ranking restriction to participate these Championships (departmental or regional) qualifying for the French Championship.

4 - HOMOLOGATION OF TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS (Interclubs)

The organization of the Interclub Team Championships is at the discretion of the Leagues.

The regulations of these Championships (classification limitations, match formats etc.) are established by the Regional Commissions of Padel.

Each interclub, regional or departmental team championship will be valued in P 100, P 250 or P 500 maximum (Regional Commission decision Padel).

These Championships are directly homologated within the federal base by the Leagues, as a tournament, and the results will impact the calculation of the Ranking for the players / s benefiting from points.
