Mario Cordero interviewed three players from Stade Toulousain who participated in this qualification for the final of the 2024 French Interclub Championships in Padel Horizon facing PadelShot Caen.

Next step for Stade Toulousain: creating a “huge surprise” against Tennis Padel Club Palavas.

Charlotte Soubrié: “The match was very complicated because we were down 1/0, then Laura and Jennifer delivered an incredible match, full of ups and downs, which they finally won 6/4 in the 3rd set. With Lucile, we managed to bring back the victory point by beating Mélanie Ros and Marie Lefevre 6/4, 6/4. »

Laura Clergue: “I was really afraid that we wouldn't be able to get back into the game, especially since Jennifer and I had never played together. I am very proud of her because she played very well. For Lucile and Charlotte, we must congratulate them doubly because they had spent a lot of energy before their match. Charlotte experienced the match like a Stade Toulousain match in rugby, and we were scared because our opponents also had a great match. »

Lucile Pothier: “Our goal was to reach the final because we knew that our part of the table was a little more favorable than the others. Now we will give everything and enjoy this final. I would also like to salute the team of Padelshot because they delivered a superb encounter. »
