Padel to attract customers

In recent years, padel has gained popularity. We find more and more aficionados, tournaments, clubs, and even courts in unexpected places. Recently, we have been able to see that Padel is even coming to AirbnbsIt is a new fashion, houses and summer residences are equipping themselves with padel infrastructures to attract more customers.

 This time it takes place in the Irish province of Clare,  in the town of Shannon. To attract its customers, theAdare Manor Hotel,  a dazzling 840-hectare country estate  dating from the 1830s, has two padel courts.

Following a change in ownership, the property reopened in early November 2017, following a groundbreaking renovation carried out by its current owners. They have modernized the interiors while preserving their ancestral heritage. This development has given rise to a total of  104 rooms and suites , swimming pool,  a golf course designed by Tom Fazio which will soon host the 2027 Ryder Cup,  and as we have already mentioned,  two padel courts.

These padel courts are located within the Padel Club, just a two-minute walk from the manor. Adare Manor's two indoor padel courts have been designed to provide an exceptional experience for every player, regardless of their level. There are qualified coaches and even a shop.

Padel in mansions: a new trend?

This is not the first time that padel courts have been found in a mansion. Indeed, in  theEstelle Manor – Hotel & Country Club in Oxfordshire, England , padel courts have also been installed.

This manor, nestled in the heart of a domain of  1214 hectares,  offers much more than a simple stay to its customers. It has four restaurants, an extraordinary Roman-inspired bathhouse covering 3 square meters,  108 bedrooms , a sports hall of  250 m2,  as well as padel courts!

Some access is reserved for members and membership costs £3, or approximately €600, per year. A price that can cool slightly…
