Few people know it, but many people speak about Fiberglass padel courts. Today we’re busting some of the biggest stereotypes about NXPadel structures. Do you agree on those?

It’s never easy to drop a new product in the market, and it’s even more difficult when you’re the only one in the world selling it… A difficult task for NXPadel to disrupt the status quo of iron courts with its own patented Fiberglass structure, but, as the Co-Founder Nicola Ceresoli affirms: “We’re sure to have a revolutionary solution, and in a certain way is funny to ‘’fight’’ against myths and urban legends about our Fiberglass Courts”

It’s very interesting to discover stereotypes about Fiberglass: someone could be reasonable and have sense, and some others are just funny. Let’s discover the top 3 myths NXPadel (https://www.nxpadel.com/) busted about Fiberglass (https://www.nxpadel.com/fr/vtr1.php) courts:

"Fiberglass is not resistant! "

That’s the main thought about Fiberglass. It could be reasonable because at first touch it seems like plastic, but in reality, it’s way more resistant than other materials. Just consider that GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) is used for the production of wind turbines, boats, and even for some tools for the Space industry… Myth Busted! Fiberglass (https://www.nxpadel.com/vtr1.php) structure is resistant and it perfectly blends lightness and strengthens.

"It’s useless to have a Fiberglass court that doesn’t oxidate when I can paint my iron court. "

From a certain point of view, this is true; Fiberglass is chemically impossible that rusts, but an iron court if gets rusty, can be repainted and cover the oxidation, so it’s meaningless to have a Fiberglass court.

From a theoretical point of view, it works like that, but it also means that iron courts rust, and between one and another maintenance to painting the structure, you compulsory see the rust, and the court is dangerous for the players and horrible for the aesthetic. Moreover, apart from being an image fault for the club, it’s also a cost that can be avoided… Myth is not busted, but it would be better to think twice before saying ‘’It’s useless to have a Fiberglass court that does not get rust”.

"The bounce on Fiberglass meshes is different! "

4 NXPADEL TRACK

That’s simply not true! Fiberglass meshes perfectly reply to IPF parameters: Random Bounce.

“How can something that must be random, be different?!” - says the CEO, Nicola. Fiberglass (https://www.nxpadel.com/vtr3.php) meshes perfectly fit international standards from the Federation: Size, Shape, Thickness,… The key point is that NXPadel’s meshes do not make any noise, that’s why the first time it could be that the bounce “is different”.

What’s your thought about Fiberglass structures by NXPadel ? Do you think those myths are legit? Do you have any doubt or ‘’urban legend’’ about this?
