The Reserve Cup, this is the event padel sponsored by Richard Mille and which is being held this weekend in Miami and has invited the biggest stars of padel.

In competition, two teams will face each other to try to win the title and this famous prize money record that caused so much talk. The two groups – the Miami team and the Reserve team – are made up of the best players in padel of the planet.

In Team Miami, we will find: the Superpibes, Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk, Momo Gonzalez, Juan Tello, Fede Chingotto, Maxi Sanchez and Alex Ruiz. The captain of this team is none other than Jimmy Butler, star basketball player Miami Heat.

On the side of Team Reserve, the players who will represent this group are: Coki Nieto, Gonzalo Rubio, Javi Garrido, Mike Yanguas, Jon Sanz, Juan Lebron and Ale Galan. For this team, Derek Jeter, former American baseball player and minority co-owner of Miami Marlins, will be the captain of the team.

This competition resembles the Laver Cup tennis. Each match earns points for his team. The first matches earn one point. But as the meetings progress, they yield more. Therefore, unless one team takes a considerable advantage, everything can be decided until the last meeting.

The first meetings took place yesterday evening, notably with an association Tello / Chingotto… old. The Argentinians were able to find Juan LeBron and Javi Garrido. Victory close to the wire for the Andalusian pair, 6/3 5/7 10/5 which brings back the 1er point for his team.

The following matches unfortunately had to be postponed due to the weather. Hoping that the latter will be more lenient today.

This Friday, the meetings are scheduled for 15:30 p.m. (local time), or 21:30 p.m. in France, to catch up on the programming delay. The good news is that the matches can be followed live, on Youtube !
