We have already talked about it, the padel is a very strategic game, which notably includes similarities with chess. This is why the champions of padel are sometimes chess fans, and vice versa.

What we didn't know was that Scrabble players are apparently just as fond of padel, in any case at least one, but not just any!

Indeed, as our colleagues from Forward, Scrabble champion David Eldar is a fan of padel. He also plays tennis and table tennis “seriously”. For him, these racquet sports and his favorite game ultimately share more similarities than you might think:

At first glance, you might think that Scrabble and these sports don't have much in common. However, I find that there are many similarities in the way of apprehending the competition, the way of winning, of approaching things in general.
