Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello have decided to end their collaboration, according to Argentinian newspaper Olé.

Following an elimination in the round of XNUMX of the Premier Padel Qatar Major 2023, then more recently at the WPT La Rioja Open, the pair definitely doesn't seem to work.

Registered together for the World Padel Tour in Chile and Paraguay, the Argentinian and the Spaniard have decided to put an end to their collaboration just after the next two tournaments of the South American tour.

The pair will indeed play one last time in Asuncion, in the Paraguayan capital during the Open 1000.

They will have played eleven tournaments together, including six at the end of 2022 and five at the start of the year.

A disappointing start to the season

This separation was undoubtedly inevitable given the many defeats that the pair had chained in recent weeks: only one match won at the start of the season for these world-class players. Yes, change seems inevitable. Paquito's change in positioning didn't work and the harmony between the two players didn't materialize positively.

A post on Navarro's Instagram page didn't bode well for the future. He asserted that: “We are not going to deny that this beginning of the year is not going as we had prepared with enthusiasm, and it is a bad moment. But it's time to look for solutions, which still exist, and get back on track. Come on Juan Tello, because of your confidence and in my “crazy” idea, you deserve me to try everything one more time”.

It was said and written

Paquito Navarro had notably declared during a press conference granted to the Khalifa Complex: “We will try again one more time, but I won't be stubborn if I see that it's not going well”. It seems that he implemented his words.

The pair won during these few months of collaboration only one title, that of the Mexican Open, last November. Not enough for both players.

So who will the two men continue their journey with respectively after the tournaments in Chile and Paraguay? To be continued…
