Despite the crisis, we realize that there has been almost as many tournaments in 2020 as in 2019. This shows that 2020 has paradoxically been a very special year for the padel French.

The number of licensees has exceeded 10 mark in February 000 and even the bar of 11 competitors in November 000! 

Among the very good students, one league has hit hard: the Occitanie league. 

Still first!

In 2019, she had already set the bar very high with her 337 tournaments padel. She had already won this most active league palm in terms of padel.

It is in fact carried by particularly active clubs which, for some, have become bases of the padel French.

In 2020, the Occitanie league strikes even harder, not only once again becoming the best endowed in padel but in addition, it achieves the unthinkable: offering more tournaments of padel in 2020 than in 2019, thus finishing at 357 tournaments offered, i.e. 20 more events.

P100 and P250 galore!

A league that clearly shows that what works best are the two queen categories of tournaments padel : P100 and P250.

If between 2019 and 2020, the P250s dropped slightly, it is above all the P100s which increased from 180 to 211!

It's quite impressive when you know that many clubs padel in Occitanie suffer hard as everywhere in France, because of the health crisis and its consequences on competition.

The Nouvelle Aquitaine league and the PACA league are on the podium. The IDF league comes in 4th.
