On the French circuit, we often have matches of padel which are played in a super tie-break (the first team with 10 points) when there is a third set. This can change the face of the match enormously because this rule balances the opposition between the two teams much more. In a super tie-break anything can happen.
A new rule that we could soon see on the tournaments: the NO-AD rule (no advantage to 40A the team that wins the point wins the game).
This is a rule that has already existed in France for a while. But we see more and more clubs offer this formula, at least in the matches of tournament pools for example or during internal competitions of a club.
Is this a good thing for the club and for the player? We can ask ourselves the question. Because in Spain, this rule does not exist (or almost no because there are always exceptions). Is this rule beneficial for our sport?
You have understood that if we ask the question, it is because we doubt its effectiveness, even if playing with the NO-AD system saves a little time. But in our opinion, we save relatively little time with this rule and for the players, it is still quite confusing at times.
After, it's a rule that puts the mind to the test ...
This would reduce the playing time of games but in terms of competitiveness is this a good solution?
What do you think ? Are you for or against ?

I am for the cancellation of the advantage at 40a the next point is decisive.
I am going to give here a referee's opinion rather than a player's. The decisive point is a guarantee of a minimum delay on the day. Indeed, a game is then almost defined in time with a maximum of 7 plays and an average time of 4 minutes max. So it is better to be stressed by too long waiting time between matches and indefinite, or the decisive point. What if the players already integrate the decisive point in training? It is then necessary to make choices of play at 30a and not only at 40a.
Bjr,
I am a beach tennis player. It's No Ad rule is an integral part of the game. I find it Top. On the one hand it allows to reduce the playing time of a match and dc to be able to make a TMC from the day. On the other hand, it gives more spice to the game with a marked uncertainty at 40A.
I will not change anything having been tennis player for 30 years.
