For the organization of tournaments authorizing outings, it is recommended to create a track of the "superior" type which allows high level competition. This type of track is useful mainly for building project of a space padel at least three tracks.

CLEARANCE

To allow play outside the structure, it will be necessary to provide a space free of any obstacle with a width of 3 m by 8 m long.

TEMPLATE

The minimum free height remains 7 m, but a height of 9 m is strongly recommended over the entire surface. There must be no obstacle on the upper part of the vertical structure (apart from the lighting masts) on the lateral length over 16 m. This template of 7 m or more is also recommended in the clearance or exit zone.

LIGHTING

The minimum lighting level necessary is 300 lux to be maintained (therefore recommended from 350 to 400 lux) for runways. padel exterior and interior. This level of illumination is obtained by calculating the arithmetic mean of thirteen measurement points (see diagram in appendix). The uniformity coefficient should be ≥ 0,5, but it is recommended that it be ≥ 0,7. It will be necessary to take into account the lighting of the clearance zones.
