World No. 1 Alejandra Salazar tells our colleagues at PadelSpain : ”We have the agreement of the World Padel Tour to play the tournament Premier Padel in Qatar”.

In the program “Esto es Pádel” of Capital Radio, Alejandra Salazar affirms that the WPT authorizes players under contract to participate in certain events of Premier Padel.

“It would be great to be in Qatar, Roland-Garros or Foro Italico, but nothing is 100% certain although everything indicates that this year we will be able to play on the circuit of Premier Padel […] Our participation in the tournament in Doha depends on Premier Padel because we have the approval of the World Padel Tour to play it in case Premier Padel offers a female painting. We are still awaiting a response on this. The sooner they tell us, the better. But with the agreement of World Padel Tour, we are very calm in this regard.”
