The first day of the Master Final of theAPT Padel Tour will have kept its promises. In Guadalajara, some surprising results spice up the competition with many fans in the stands.

The undecided B group

Yain Melgratti and Miguel Oliveira won the Master Final together last year. By chance, these two men found themselves face-to-face for the first match of group B.

In this very particular match, the two pairs dominated in turn. Fede Chiostri and Yain Melgratti ultimately failed to keep up, and got frustrated late in the game. The Argentinian and the Portuguese finally won in three sets.

Federico Chiostri / Yain Melgratti 2-6 / 6-4 / 2-6 Juan Restivo / Miguel Oliveira

Tito Germani and Tolito Aguirre had no time to waste against Barrera/Britos. The Argentinians take the left lane and start this Final Master in Guadalajara.

Leonel Aguirre / Adrian Allemandi 6-2 / 6-3 Pablo barrera / Andres Britos

Arce and Dal Bianco want to dominate the “group of death”

Maximiliano Arce and Franco Dal Bianco had a trap match to start this Master Final 2022. The n°1 honored their ranking and did not flinch in the face of two players who conceded their first defeat together. Dominated, Julianoti and Alfonso were never able to shake up the favorites of the competition.

The Arce / Dal Bianco pair takes a good option in this group A and should, barring a cataclysm, be one of the four semi-finalists.

Maximilian Maple / Franco Da Bianco 6-3 / 6-3 Gonzalo G.Alfonso / Julio Julianoti

APT Master Final 2022 Miercoles107

Maxi Sanchez Blasco and Alex Chozas are two huge talents. Rising promises only a few months ago, these two Argentinians are now among the best on this circuit. They might just be the surprise of the week.

Against the experienced Diego Ramos and Agustin “El Loco” Torre, the two very young players were on the verge of making the big performance of the day in the most spectacular match of this first round.

Torre / Ramos finally wins in the snatch and takes a first step towards the last four.

Agustin Torre / Diego Ramos 4-6 / 6-4 / 6-4 Maximiliano Sánchez / Alex Chozas
