Mission Director Padel and Greenweez Premier Padel Major (G3PM) for the French Federation of Padel (FFT), Arnaud Di Pasquale, looks back on LinkedIn on the first year of the new professional circuit Premier Padel and on the first French Major: the G3PM.

Lebron and Galan at the top

"The circuit Premier Padel dedicates Ale Galán – Juan Lebron. The Spanish winners in Paris will have lit up the season.

By winning the last tournament of padel of the season (Premier Padel), Milan Premier Padel, the n°1s establish their domination on the circuit a little more Premier Padel.

The pair had already impressed us by winning an exceptional final during the Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major at the Roland Garros stadium.

This same pair has also lifted the trophies of the Rome and Madrid tournaments and has therefore just signed a 4th success on the circuit Premier Padel.

4 successes out of 8 possible including 2 of the 4 Majors (Grand Chelem): Rome and Paris.

It's just HUGE.

Right behind them, the legend of padel Fernando Belasteguin alias “Bela” and his partner Arturo Coello take the place of tied No. 3 after their victory at Major de Monterrey in Mexico.

Clearly the 2023 season promises to be as exciting as it is unpredictable with the separation of the main rivals of Galan / Lebron: Paquito / Di Nenno (winners of the Qatar Major), Tapia / Gutiérrez or even Belasteguin / Coello.

3 French in the top 100

“Note 3 French people in the top 100 in the FIP ranking: the stainless and passionate Jérémy Scatena, Benjamin Tison who continues to progress and the talented young Thomas Leygue. To follow closely…

The French Tennis Federation is eager to bring you the world-class excellence of this booming sport. The spectacle and the atmosphere are still going to be spectacular at the Roland-Garros stadium.

See you at the very beginning of the year to announce the dates for the 2023 edition.”
