2021 French Championships: everything you need to know

The 2021 French Championships will take place at the end of the week, the FFT is communicating all the important information to us as the tournament approaches.

PAIRS QUALIFIED THIS YEAR

Here is how the pairs who will participate in the 2021 edition were selected.

• The automatically qualified pairs: pairs of players who have participated in the championships
from Europe padel (for France or Monaco).
• The league champion pairs are directly qualified (13 metropolitan leagues, as well
than the league of Reunion).
• The pairs who participated in the regional championships, drafted in the overall standings
from France.
• Two pairs benefiting by wild-card (not compulsory : la FFT peut grant to
2 WC per table, female and male)

The classification taken into account to determine the seeds, and therefore the establishment of the table,
is that of Monday, September 20, 2021.

THE RUNNING OF THE COMPETITION

32 pairs feminine et masculine participate à ces championships from France from padel.

The competition will take place in the form of a multi-chance tournament (knockout matches).

All pairs will be ranked from 1 to 32.

THE PROVISIONAL PROGRAM

Thursday 23 September 2021

• Prize draw at 18 p.m. at the Win Win club Padel.

Friday 24 September 2021

• Morning: round of 16, from 9:00 am.

• Afternoon: round of 8 and classification matches.

Saturday 25 September 2021

• Morning: quarter-finals and classification matches, from 1 am.

• Afternoon: semi-finals and classification matches.

Sunday 26 September 2021

• Morning: classification matches.
• Afternoon: ladies and gentlemen's finals from 14 p.m.
(order not determined).

THE ARBITRATOR

The tournament referee is Benjamin Pomportes.

THE BALLS USED

The final phase of the French championships padel is disputed with WILSON X3 Speed balls.

THE SITE

The sixth edition of the French championships padel, organized by the FFT, will take place from September 24 to 26, 2021 at Club Win Win Padel in Cabriès (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur league). The competition will be played on 8 outdoor courts.
