Lyon's Collombon / Meites pair won the Open de padel of the TCM5 in Lyon. A great victory acquired after a great match against one of the great French pairs: Pironneau / Clément.

On paper, the match was balanced. On the field too.

In the first set, girls find it hard to decide. The wind mingling, the two pairs do not want to take too much risk to avoid making mistakes. Which gives us a first set that will be played on a break at 5 everywhere. Behind Alix and Line ensure to win the first set.

In the second set, Collombon / Meites made a great start and quickly found himself at 4 / 1, the break in his pocket. But it was not without counting the mind of the pair Pironneau / Clement who managed to break up and then return to 5 everywhere.

While we thought to take the path of a tie-break in the second set, Collombon / Meites still makes a break in the worst moments for once again win this decisive set: 7 / 5.

The match would have deserved a great tie-break but Alix Collombon and Line Meites were more successful in the hot moments of the match.

Tournament +

Marie Garranas a player we will certainly see again in future tournaments if she gives the means. She was amazed by her punching game. Dynamics on the legs, able to occupy a lot of space despite its small size, and a beautiful shot of balls force us to think that it should persevere in this sport.

Anaïs Rivière and Nada Majdoubi managed an anthology match against Emilie Guez and Pauline Renvoisé. While these first 8 / 7 40 / 0 were conducted against them, they managed to save 3 match balls to finally win in the tie-break. Perhaps some regrets due to avoidable mistakes for Pauline and Emilie, but once again Anaïs and Nada perform very well.
