The French Tennis Federation explains precisely how to qualify for the final stages of the French Championships of padel 2019 in its Competition Guide dated last April. Modalities, regulations, everything is explained.

The League will qualify one or more teams for the French Championships, even if only one team has committed. (However, it is imperative that a League Championship has been officially organized).

Each League may qualify 1 for 4 teams for the Senior French Championships (per event); ie the automatically qualified League Champion team + 3 qualifying teams, as described below.

The League will enter, in addition to its Regional Champion Team, 3 teams that it will choose among the teams that participated in the Regional Championship.

Also, for each event, 24 teams will be qualified:
- 18 league champion teams are directly qualified
- 6 additional places are awarded as follows:

=> Each of the 18 leagues will enter its 3 qualifying teams on the entry form

=> All qualifying teams from the 18 leagues will be ordered from 1 to 54, taking into account the FFT ranking of Padel of the month of July (with equal weight of teams, a draw will be made)

=> The 6 best teams from this list (still in the July ranking) will qualify for the 2019 French Championship; the following teams, from rank 7 to rank 54, will constitute the list of substitute teams.

● Rankings to take into account:
- The classification taken into account to determine the teams qualified for the French Championships is the ranking of the month of July (the list of qualifying teams is established in August, but will not change with the ranking of the month of August )
- On the other hand, the classification taken into account to determine the top seeds, and to draw up the table, is that of September.

● Distribution of lists:
Leagues must register their teams with the FFT no later than Monday 15 July 2019.
The list of directly qualified teams and the list of substitute teams will be circulated and communicated to the Leagues on Friday 23 August 2019. Several cases of packages, and therefore replacements, may occur.
