The ultimate competition circuit of the FIP bringing together the best players of the year, the Cupra FIP Finals, will inaugurate a new format for its future 2023 edition. The tournament, which will conclude a record season of 110 events worldwide, will therefore evolve by offering in particular a second luck to the vanquished.

First, the final draw will consist of the top eight teams from the Cupra FIP Tour ranking, then the top four teams from the American and South American tournaments, as well as the top two teams from the Asian tournaments. Finally, two teams will complete the table according to a qualification system where players benefiting from a wild-card will clash.

Once the final draw has been set up, the tournament will begin with the first round. Then, the teams will be divided into two separate tables: that of the winners, and that of the losers. The pairs that fell in the first round will therefore have an additional opportunity to evolve in the competition alongside the winners of the first round.

This year, the overall prize-money of the tournament will be 80.000 euros shared equally between the men's and women's tables. The great champions of the Cupra FIP Finals 2023 will earn 150 points, there will be 90 for the finalists, 45 for the semi-finalists, 22 for the quarter-finalists and 11 for the round of XNUMX.
