Cyril Hanouna and Miguel Semmler (world top 60), seeded 11 in the P1000 Padel Arena / BMW Horizon, fought to try to reach the round of XNUMX in Rouen. In vain.

After a defeat that “hurts morale”, the host of TPMP was kind enough to grant us an interview with a little exclusivity at the key…

Try to be more competitive

We had a complicated match against two players who played very well. They obviously oriented the game on me.

I think I could have done much better. Especially since I've been training lately in Spain. I will continue to try to progress to be more competitive against players of this level.

Tactically, maybe we should have reversed the sides. Miguel normally plays on the right. And I train on the left. Afterwards, of course, by reversing the sides, it offers an opportunity for opponents to play even more on me. The tactic is not simple. But I will try to pass this course.

Season 2: Objective top 100, let's go!

I announce to you that season 2 of “Objectif top 100” will indeed be done. We meet a real success with the first. We did not expect it at this point and with such enthusiasm. So we went back to a second season. Well it does not start very well for me. But I have many tournaments on the program including the P2000 in Toulouse (Ed. latest FFT Padel Tour the 4PADEL Toulouse Colomiers). And I will also play with Miguel.

We will have to prepare for many seasons at this rate (laughs). It's true that the higher you go in the rankings, the more difficult it is. But we will continue to progress. I am lucky to be able to play with the best, to be coached by the greats of this sport.

I try to give my all, I love this sport !
