Daniel Patti resigns from the presidency of the International Federation of Padel. A controversial president who certainly finds himself pushed to resign.
A silence that makes a lot of people talk
The former President of the FIP explains to us that he "dbroadcasts for the good of the International Federation of Padel”Without wanting to explain the form and the rich news around the padel. Is this a way to come out on top? Not so sure. Obviously, this silence leads to strong speculation about what will happen next.
It must be said that the presidency of the International Federation of Padel has become a real issue for 2 years.
With the explosion of padel around the world, this position is becoming much more attractive than before.
The first applicant: Fabrice Pastor
The president of the company Monte Carlo International Sports did not hide it by denying that the presidency of the FIP could be one of its objectives. On social networks we have seen with many federations to advance on this topic.
Daniel Patti thus seemed isolated in his own camp. It is Diego Miller, the President of the Uruguayan Federation who takes the presidency in acting. In September, we should know the new president. For the moment apart from Fabrice Pastor, we do not know if there will be other contenders. But probably there will be only one.
On all fronts
Fabrice Pastor is on all fronts: The creation of a professional circuit (the International Padel Tour) to replace the current professional championship of padel (The World Padel Tour), the Fabrice Pastor Cup and the development of this circuit in Europe, major French-speaking events ...
Fabrice Pastor could thus be the new president of the International Federation of Padel and propose a professional circuit which would be directly attached to the FIP and the Federations. It would obviously be a huge blow. But it wouldn't be the first time.
Franck Binisti discovers the padel at the Club des Pyramides in 2009 in the Paris region. Since padel is part of his life. You often see him touring France going to cover the major events of padel French.
The title of your article and “the silence that speaks volumes” do not provide any information about this event.
So was it necessary to talk about this affair without saying anything?
For my part, I will therefore provide information experienced in reality, and not in guesswork.
I had wanted to meet Mr Patti on the occasion of a project to open a first club of Padel in the capital of a European country (outside the EU) 3 years ago, in order to obtain information on the federation of which he was the president and its functioning with the clubs.
This meeting took place in this country, on the one hand because I was domiciled there then, and on the other hand because he came there regularly.
Because his visits, carried out outside his functions as president of the FIP, concerned a commercial activity which he was in charge of there, with the help of a third person, native and local resident.
Which one was present during our interview, which did not give to my liking the support that I had hoped for from the FIP, support that was not expected through some financial aid. But maybe aid shouldn't be placed on the right side of the table.
In the end, the project did not succeed, for other reasons in particular.
The language of wood, widely used in France, is still relevant in all areas ...
