"We didn't think we would go this far. We come out of the previas. It was a tough game. We do very well in the end.

The conditions were different compared to this beginning of the tournament. (Editor's note. The girls played on the club's outdoor tracks).

Conditions are slower. And inevitably the exchanges are longer. It was a physical fight. We are happy to have won it.

We win 9 gold points out of the 12 obtained. It wasn't easy. The fact of having won the first punto de oro gave us psychological confidence for the future.”
