The development of Padel within tennis clubs (public sector) is very different from that of the private sector. As can be seen from the graph below, tennis is mainly developing an “Outdoor” offer. Conversely, the private sector mainly offers “indoor”.

Why this outdoor development within tennis clubs? It's simple: The cost of an outdoor field is much cheaper than a covered field. As tennis clubs have a limited budget, they buy outdoor courts. This strategy of Padel “Cheap” leads to somewhat inconsistent decisions. We end up with lots of Padel outdoors in areas where it rains half the year. (See the table below).
