Padel Magazine comes back to this famous little box that keeps your balls pressurized. padel and tennis. We will try to tell you everything why it is interesting to have a pressurized tube. Because this tube will save you money.

The brand we analyzed: TuboPlus.

What is the purpose of this tube?

Manufacturers of tennis balls and padel in factories put the new balls once created in a plastic tube, and add compressed (pressurized) air with a pressure of about 14 psi to equalize the pressure of the balls inside the tube and then put a metal plate to block pressurized air and make it airtight.

Thus the ball cannot lose pressure on leaving the manufacturing plant. The balls will thus be delivered to clubs and purchased by individuals.

The balls will be depressurized once the cap is removed from the tube.

Once the tennis balls are opened and Padel have a life of 2 weeks. There are different conditions that make you lose pressure more or less quickly: weather (days, weeks, months), cold / heat, quality of the ball (more expensive, less expensive) and the quality of the game during the match (the higher the intensity of the game, the more pressure the ball will be).

TuboPlus has the function of pressurizing the balls inside the tube with the same compressed air pressure as in the factory once you have finished playing. The tube keeps the pressurized bullets as new, without loss of pressure until the next match.

How does it work?

The lower part has a black "O-ring" (interchangeable). When mounting the lower part (tube where the 3 balls are inserted) with the top (cover with the logo), it seals the air inside and does not let it out. Once the air is stagnant inside, the O-ring is completely bonded to the walls (without letting the air out) and depending on how tight we are, the volume of air is compressed by increasing the pressure at the bottom. inside the TuboPlus (generating pressurized air).

By pushing the air in a very small space, the pressure is equal to that of the inside of the balls. "In physics, there must always be equal pressure between internal and external pressure."

WE NEVER REFER TuboPlus TO THE END.

Once this is done, the balls will be pressurized again as they are during their manufacture until the next time in order to play tennis or golf. padel without worrying about the loss of pressure from the balls.
