Toulouse Padel Club, one of the lungs of the padel French, perhaps hosted the last stage of the My padel Tour of its history. 

Beyond the disturbances linked to the “yellow vests”, we will remember the incredible final delivered by the vice-champions of France Adrien Maigret and Benjamin Tison who won at the end of the suspense against Jose Luis Lara Salines and Rafa Mendez. 

The ladies also offered us beautiful matches and a victory in 3 sets of Marianne Vandaele and Charlotte Soubrié against the surprise of the tournament, the Montpellier pair Martino / Invernon

Tison / Maigret to the mind

Maigret / Tison: A big mind to overcome the Spanish.

Adrien Maigret was far from serene this weekend following physical problems. He was showing signs of nervousness on the pitch. At the end of the match, we even saw him particularly tired. Regarding women, a nice surprise with the pair 100% Montpellier Martino / Invernon who has mastered from the semifinals an extremely successful and experienced pair of Océane Kik and Valérie Pibis (6-1 6-2).

In the other branch, Marianne Vandaele and Charlotte Soubrié wrestled in 3 sets to qualify for the dangerous pair Emmelien Lambregts and Déborah Alquier.

In the final, the Montpellier even offered the luxury of taking the first set 6-4 before finally losing in 3 sets (6-4 3-6 1-6).

Given their level of solid play, there is no doubt that these are names that will be found on future special occasions.
