There were a few surprises this Saturday at FFT Padel Tour P2000 of the Pyramids, with in particular the elimination of the head of series 2 in the ladies.
The top seeds were beaten yesterday at the P2000 des Pyramides. Among the ladies, the surprise of the day is to be credited to Marianne Vandaele and Tiffany Phaysouphanh who dismissed the seeded 2 Barsotti / Soubrie in two sets: 7/6 6/3. The hottest match of the day, between pairs numbers 4 and 5 on tour in favor of Laura Clergue and Ligi who dismiss Mélanie Ros and Marie Lefevre 6/1 6/7 7/6!
Among the men, the little sensation is the defeat in two sets of Dorian De Meyer and Thomas Vanbauce, seeded 4, against Cancel / Guichard (TS6). Particularly in good shape, the outsiders won 6/3 6/4.
Pairs 1 and 2 also suffered, with victories in three sets over Authier/Lopes and Grue/Forcin respectively.
