FIP and World Padel Tour have reached a new agreement that will allow professional padel players to participate in more tournaments.

The FIP, which already offered 3 types of tournaments (Promotion, Rise and Star), just announced the launch of a new category : FIP Gold. These new tournaments will offer 80 FIP-WPT points to the winners, and will not be prohibited only to the 16 best players in the ranking. There will be a show!

Thanks to this new organization, more players will be able to participate in FIP tournaments, which potentially means more winnings for them, and therefore more stability in their lives as professional padel players. A breakthrough for many players who often have difficulty living off their passion.

Luigi Carrero, President of the FIP, and Mario Hernando, CEO of World Padel Tour, welcome this new agreement, and are confident that the 2021 calendar of the two circuits will be held.
