The competition is moving on to FIP Gold in Dubai, and we will find a Français at the quarter-final stage in the person of Benjamin Tison. In the other part of the table, Adrien Maigret did not manage to get past the second lap.

Seeded number 2 this week alongside the Spaniard Victor Mena, Benjamin Tison enforced his rank and easily disposed of the Italians Daniele Cattaneo and Lorenzo Di Giovanni (6/3 – 6/2). The Franco-Spanish pair will still be favorites in the quarters against Barbosa and Dominguez, who dominated Gonzalez / Garcia (6/3 – 7/6).

Tison is therefore the last Frenchman in contention in the table, because Adrien Maigret stopped in the second round. Associated with the Belgian Jérôme Peeters, he once again fell against the Iberian pair composed of Sergio Icardo and Javier Lopez Garcia. As in qualifying, the Franco-Belgian team lost in two sets (6/4 – 6/2). The Spaniards will find their compatriots Ruben Rivera and Adria Marcadal in the next match.

In the rest of the table, the favorites have all obtained their ticket for the quarters: Marcos / Sanchez, Ramirez Navas / Gaspar and Ortega / Marti. Only the Solbes / Garcia Blanco pair missed their game against Hernandez Quesada / Jofre (6/2 – 6/2).
